Review Tuesdays 4/26/11

This weekend I went on a Movie Marathon on the Netflix live stream. I watched Made in Manhattan, Someone Like you and What if... I had heard of What if, through Pastor James MacDonald and he highly recommended it. I never really heard much about the movie and forgot all about it. Until this weekend when I went through all the categories Netflix has. I went through Faith and Spirituality and there I saw the young girl that comes out in the Disney channel, the one from The Suite Life on Deck Debby Ryan. Right there and then I remembered about the movie Pastor MacDonald had recommended and got my husband to sit down and watch it. 30 minutes into the movie he said, "Our kids are going to love this movie, they have to come out of their rooms and watch it with us!" He called them both out and we started the movie from the beginning and the whole family sat down to watch it. We loved it!  Hope you enjoy it too :) You can rent it, buy it, or watch it through netflix if you are a customer.

Would-be preacher Ben Walker (Kevin Sorbo) left his church and his college sweetheart, Wendy (Kristy Swanson), for a lucrative career, but when the slick executive's new ride breaks down, angelic tow-truck driver Mike (John Ratzenberger) offers to show where Ben's life might have gone. In this comedy of second chances, Ben awakens to find Wendy and their kids getting ready for church, while ahead of him lies a day of reckoning and reconsideration.
